The university’s experienced academic staff will teach essential nursing skills for providing effective care to adult patients in real-world settings. Students will deepen their problem-solving abilities and enhance critical decision-making skills, gaining the confidence to work in high-pressure environments. Collaborative teamwork skills will also be developed, enabling students to assess, plan, and implement adult care effectively, while cultivating compassionate communication and a commitment to positively impacting others' lives. Through their studies, students will gain a thorough understanding of the evolving field of nursing and be prepared to contribute meaningfully to discussions about the profession's future.
Entry Requirements
To apply for this course, applicants will require the following:
A-levels BBC; or
BTEC - DMM; or
Access requirements - Overall pass: must include 45 credits at level 3, of which all 45 must be at Merit or higher; or
A combination of A level, BTEC and other accepted qualifications that total 112 UCAS Tariff points; or
EU/Overseas high school diploma.
Further requirements:
You are required to demonstrate that you have work experience, which does not have to be in the field of healthcare.
You are also required to provide evidence of study within the last 5 years.
Complete a satisfactory enhanced DBS Check, occupational health check, and provide suitable references.
English Language Requirements
You'll need good English language skills to study with us.
IELTS Overall score required 7.0, and minimum of 7 in all sections;
English Language GCSE at grade C (grade 4)
Functional Skills Level 2 Pass.
