With the rising demand for skilled social workers, this accredited program provides essential skills to build a career helping individuals at risk lead fulfilling, independent lives. The curriculum, collaboratively designed by academics, service users, and practice partners, offers a comprehensive and engaging social work education. A supportive teaching team, with strong ties to current social work practice, will guide students throughout their journey. In the first year, students develop foundational professional insight and communication skills essential for effective social work, establishing a base for the second and third years of academic study and hands-on learning. All modules and the overall program are structured to align with Social Work England's Professional Standards. Students will complete two professional placements in diverse settings during the second and third years, gaining valuable, practical experience.
Entry Requirements
To apply for this course, applicants will require the following:
A-levels BBC; or
BTEC - DMM; or
Access requirements - Overall pass: must include 45 credits at level 3, of which all 15 must be at Distinction and 30 must be at Merit or higher; or
A combination of A level, BTEC and other accepted qualifications that total 120-128 UCAS Tariff points; or
EU/Overseas high school diploma.
Additionally, applicants require:
GCSE English and Maths grade 4/C or equivalent;
DBS and Declaration of Suitability.

IELTS Overall score required 7.0, and minimum of 7 in all sections;
English Language GCSE at grade C (grade 4)
Functional Skills Level 2 Pass.
