This flexible degree emphasizes sustainability and encourages students to explore their unique voice as fashion and textile creatives using both digital and traditional technologies. Students will acquire a diverse set of design skills applicable to the fashion and textile industries, enhancing their employability by specializing in a chosen pathway. With access to the full Adobe suite and a range of traditional and digital textile equipment, students will work closely with experienced tutors to develop hand-drawn and digital techniques. In the second year, students can participate in a work placement within the fashion industry, with additional one-year placement options available. The department fosters a collaborative learning environment, allowing students to work alongside peers from Fashion Communication, Styling, and Marketing on various projects.
Entry Requirements
To apply for this course, applicants will require one of the following:
A Levels BBC
BTEC Level 3
Access requirements Overall pass: must include 45 credits at level 3, of which all 45 must be at Merit or higher
National extended Diploma
Combinations A combination of A-Level, BTEC and other accepted qualifications that total 112 UCAS Tariff points
EU/Overseas high school diploma.
Additionally, applicants require:

English Language Requirements
You will need to meet English language requirements:
IELTS Overall score required 6.0, and minimum 5.5 in each component
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with minimum 59 in each component
Language Cert International ESOL Exam B2 SELT version ONLY with High Pass overall and minimum 33 in each component
TOEFL Overall score required 72, inlcuding Listening: 17, Reading: 18, Writing: 17, Speaking: 20
