Psychology plays a fundamental role in understanding human behavior and individuals. The Psychology BSc, accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), offers eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), an essential first step toward becoming a chartered psychologist. Achieving GBC through this degree enables progression to specialized postgraduate training and a career in psychology.
The program is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of the core areas of psychology, including biological, cognitive, developmental, social, individual differences, and research methods. Students will also acquire a broad range of academic and transferable skills, equipping them for future employment or further postgraduate studies.
Entry Requirements
To apply for 3 year course, applicants will require the following:
a minimum of grades BBC in three A levels or minimum grades BC in at least two A levels in academic or business subjects(or a minimum of 102 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification) or EU/Overseas high school diploma
English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade C (grade 4) or pass the University tests
To apply for 4 year course (foundation year), applicants will require the following:
at least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification) or EU/Overseas high school diploma
English Language GCSE at grade C (grade 4) or pass the University tests

IELTS Overall score required 6.0, and minimum 5.5 in each component
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with minimum 59 in each component
Cambridge C1 Advanced, formerly Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) – grade C and above
Cambridge C2 Proficiency, formerly Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) – grade C and above
LanguageCert International ESOL Exam B2 LRWS with minimum 33 in each component
TOEFL Overall score required 72, inlcuding Listening: 17, Reading: 18, Writing: 17, Speaking: 20
