Course Overview

For those aspiring to become leaders in theatre and the performing arts, the Theatre and Performance BA (Hons) offers an ideal foundation. This program emphasizes experiential learning, enabling students to gain a thorough understanding of theatre production—from initial concept to final performance—while also providing opportunities to create and present their own original work.

Entry Requirements

To apply for 3 year course, applicants will require the following:

  • a minimum of grade C in three A levels or a minimum of grades BC in at least two A levels in academic subjects (or a minimum of 112 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification) or EU/Overseas high school diploma

  • English Language GCSE at grade C (grade 4) or pass the University tests

  • a portfolio review

English Language Requirements

English certificates equivalent to GCSE

  • IELTS Overall score required 6.0, and minimum 5.5 in each component

  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with minimum 59 in each component

  • Cambridge C1 Advanced, formerly Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) – grade C and above

  • Cambridge C2 Proficiency, formerly Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) – grade C and above

  • LanguageCert International ESOL Exam B2 LRWS with minimum 33 in each component

  • TOEFL Overall score required 72, inlcuding Listening: 17, Reading: 18, Writing: 17, Speaking: 20
