The Early Childhood Studies BA (Hons) degree is one of the pioneering university courses in the UK, designed to address the need for highly qualified early childhood specialists dedicated to supporting young children and their families across various sectors. Entry Requirements
To apply for 3 year course, applicants will require the following:
a minimum of grades BBC in three A levels (or a minimum of 112 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification) or EU/Overseas high school diploma
English Language GCSE at grade C (grade 4) or pass the University tests
enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
To apply for 4 year course (foundation year), applicants will require the following:
at least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification) or EU/Overseas high school diploma
English Language GCSE at grade C (grade 4) or pass the University tests
enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

IELTS Overall score required 6.0, and minimum 5.5 in each component
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with minimum 59 in each component
Cambridge C1 Advanced, formerly Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) – grade C and above
Cambridge C2 Proficiency, formerly Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) – grade C and above
LanguageCert International ESOL Exam B2 LRWS with minimum 33 in each component
TOEFL Overall score required 72, inlcuding Listening: 17, Reading: 18, Writing: 17, Speaking: 20
