Course Overview

This undergraduate architecture degree serves as your initial step toward a professional career in architecture, granting you exemption from RIBA Part 1 upon completion. Through a blend of practical design projects, formal instruction, and fieldwork, you will acquire the skills and experience needed to progress toward completing RIBA Parts 2 and 3.

Entry Requirements

To apply for 3 year course, applicants will require the following:

  • a minimum of grades BBB in three A levels, one of which comes from a relevant subject area such as Art, Humanities or the Social Sciences (or a minimum of 120 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification) or EU/Overseas high school diploma

  • English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade C (grade 4) or pass the University tests

  • a portfolio review

To apply for 4 year course (Architecture with Foundation Year), applicants will require the following:

  • at least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification) or EU/Overseas high school diploma

  • English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade C (grade 4) or pass the University tests

  • a portfolio review

English Language Requirements

Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the English language

  • IELTS Overall score required 6.0, and minimum 5.5 in each component

  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with minimum 59 in each component

  • Cambridge C1 Advanced, formerly Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) – grade C and above

  • Cambridge C2 Proficiency, formerly Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) – grade C and above

  • LanguageCert International ESOL Exam B2 LRWS with minimum 33 in each component

  • TOEFL Overall score required 72, inlcuding Listening: 17, Reading: 18, Writing: 17, Speaking: 20
